Hey folks, just wanted to give you a heads up that I posted my first piece over at The Gentlemen's Blog to Midnite Cinema, and I would be thrilled if you took the time to check it out! It's a look at the fashion sensibilities of one David Sloan (as played by Sasha Mitchell) in Kickboxer 3: The Art of War, and boy what a look it is. Stop by, learn some great tips for the next time you need to pick out an outfit, and I promise you'll thank me later when you get all the ass in the club!

Its really hard to take Sasha serious, seeing as tho he lived in a van behind his uncles house in Step by Step. From homeless drifter, to fighting powerhouse!
ReplyDeleteDude, I *knew* that was the guy from Step By Step!
ReplyDeleteIt's historically quite hard to coordinate the tank-top and baggy pants combo but Sloan does it with graceful ease. My only critique would be the lack of fannypack.
ReplyDeleteMarkaron9: What's crazy is he did that show and these movies at the same time, so in a sense, he was big shit at the time?! All he really needed to complete his resume would've been a rap video!
ReplyDeleteAshlee: Heh, it's like he lived a double life as a teen TGIF heartthrob, and a badass Muay Thai fighter! Not a bad way to do it.
Karl: Indeed, a neon green with hot pink trim fanny pack, kicked to the side, would have completed his whole ensemble properly!
That was f'n funny! Kudos for not tip-toeing around the Step By Step topic but for also going a step (pun) further by throwing in a Growing Pains burn! Sloan looks like Prinze Jr. in some of those pics.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Geof! I think it is near impossible to mention him and not bring up Step by Step, though, for many fans of that show, I doubt they feel the same about the Kickboxer films!
